Oregon’s Clear Lake Resort is a rustic getaway in the middle of old growth forest, lava flows and crystal clear waters.

Clear Lake Resort sits on the shores of Clear Lake in Oregon. The lake is annually stocked with trout and great fun to fish. Amazing views abound. The kids will love the adventure to be found here.
Visitors can enjoy a hike, run, or mountain bike around the Clear Lake Loop Trail right for the steps of your cabin. It also connects to the epic, 26 mile, McKenzie River Trail and Santiam Wagon Trail (a historic trail used by the settlers to come to Oregon).
In fact, a couple miles from Clear Lake Resort to the north is Fish Lake Remount Depot – the remains of the historic government camp used to supply the wagon trains (free to explore) and a few miles south are Sahalie Falls and Koosah Falls that you won’t want to miss. A little further down is the Tamolitch Blue Pool hike.
In addition, Clear Lake Resort is located near the McKenzie and Santiam Rivers; great waterways for river rafting, floating and boating.

Sizes vary. The smallest accommodates 2 guests – the larger up to 8 guests.
Guest need to bring:
“Complete bedding with pillows, sheets, blankets, and/or sleeping bags. Complete cooking and eating tools with pots, pans, plates, bowls, dish soap, dish cloths, pot holders and utensils. Bring food and beverages, a cooler with ice, all bath linens & toiletries, a barbecue grill and lawn chairs. There is one group fire pit at the boat ramp for all to use (bring your own firewood, no fires allowed at cabins). Please carry chains for your vehicle during the winter.” – Clear Lake Resort

Clear Lake Resort Cafe Is located onsite and is open seasonally. Usually Memorial Day weekend to Labor Day weekend. Check with property for exact dates. Menu changes each year. Usually open for breakfast lunch and dinner.
Clear Lake Resort office store has some snacks and other basics for sale. When we say basics – we do mean basic. Options are very limited.
Restaurant and Shopping Options Nearby – the closest places to eat out of site are in McKenzie Bridge, Oregon. The closest market with any real selection is in Rainbow, Oregon.
Gas Stations Nearby – the closest gas stations are in Rainbow Oregon or Sisters, Oregon.
Boating at Clear Lake
- Row Boat & Kayak Rentals are available for 1/2 day or full day rental. First come first served.
- Bring Your Own Boat – Non motorized boats only, launch fee required.
